Field Dayz Doggy Daycare is an outdoor dog daycare located on a 4-acre property, where dogs spend their days exploring, sniffing, digging, swimming and socialising in a safe and enriching environment.

We are looking for an energetic, reliable, and passionate Casual Dog Daycare Attendant & Taxi Driver to join our growing team.

n

This is an active, hands-on role suited to someone who loves working outdoors, enjoys being part of a supportive team, and wants to make a genuine difference in dogs' lives.

n

About the role

n

This role combines dog daycare, transport and general property care. A typical day may include:

n

n
- Driving the Field Dayz Dog Taxi to safely collect and drop off dogs.
n
- Safely loading and unloading dogs of various sizes and temperaments.
n
- Supervising dogs during outdoor play and ensuring safe, positive interactions.
n
- Monitoring dog behaviour, body language and wellbeing throughout the day.
n
- Managing groups of dogs, including extra large and reactive dogs.
n
- Maintaining a clean, safe and enjoyable environment for dogs and staff.
n
- Cleaning vehicles, equipment and outdoor areas.
n
- Communicating professionally with clients during pick-up and drop-off.
n

This position involves working outdoors in all weather conditions and being physically active throughout the day.

About you

n

We are looking for someone who is:

- Energetic and physically fit.

- Reliable, punctual and committed.

- Confident working with dogs of all sizes, including extra large and reactive dogs, or willing to learn.

- Passionate about dog behaviour, welfare and providing the best possible care.
n
- A strong communicator who works well with both people and dogs.
n
- Able to take initiative and work independently when required.
n
- A positive team player who is willing to get involved in all aspects of the day.

Experience & requirements

n

Essential:

n

n
- Full Australian driver's licence.
n
- Confidence driving and handling dogs safely.
n
- Ability to work an active role involving walking, lifting, cleaning and outdoor work.
n
- A genuine interest in learning about dog behaviour and secure handling.
n

n

Experience in dog daycare, boarding kennels, animal care, training, rescue, veterinary environments or similar roles is highly regarded, but a willingness to learn and the right attitude are equally important.

Position details

- Casual position.
n
- 3–4 weekdays per week, approximately 8:00am–5:00pm.

- Additional weekend opportunities may be available.
n
- Competitive casual hourly rate.
n
- Located in Horsley, NSW.
