We are a leading Australian Food Manufacturing facility in the Northern suburbs seeking TradesAssistant to join our Maintenance Team. All you need is a 'can do' attitude, willingness to learn and grow,and the maturity to use your initiative to pitch in and get the job done.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

- Actively listening, clarifying instructions, and following directions
n
- Working collaboratively within a diverse workplace, with mutual respect for everyone
n
- Assisting with the installation of Production equipment, Conveyors, Fryers, Bagging Machines,Multi-vac Machines, Automated equipment, Mixing Equipment
n
- Collecting & assembling parts, manual handling, and site work
n
- Maintain documentation to show repairs, modifications, and additions through uploading ofphotographic records
n
- Safely operate machinery and tools and assist in non-mechanical maintenance and constructionas required
n
- Keenness to learn and train in the machinery equipment, and processes within ourManufacturing Production Workshop
n
- Ensuring the work area is kept clean, tidy, sanitized, and hygienic
n




- Adhering to strict health, safety, workplace, and quality standards to ensure the safety ofyourself and others
n
- Assisting Tradespeople with servicing, repairing, and building machinery.
n
- Maintaining a clean work area, as well as care for all shop tools, machines, and equipment
n
- Use Maintenance Software System
n

Requirements

n
- Valid Driver's Licenses and Forklift License are an advantage
n
- Willingness to learn, grow, and develop within a progressive company
n
- Ability to communicate and work collaboratively within a diversified environment
n
- Ability to perform physical activities, with potential frequent exposure to various elements, suchas cold & noisy environment, wet areas.
n
- Work Week: Monday to Friday, Early Morning shift, Flexible Roster
n
- A good attention to detail & standard of work
n
- Ability to use your initiative and be proactive in assisting with tasks within your area
n
- To be able to engage with others effectively and professionally
n
- An honest and reliable work ethic
n
- Confidence to work unsupervised or in a team environment
