Oriental Merchant is a leading wholesaler and distributor of authentic Asian food goods in the FMCG industry. We supply major supermarkets and independent grocery stores across AU, NZ, EU, UK and CA with brands and products familiar throughout the Asia Pacific region. We are proud of what we have achieved in the Asian food category and are looking for a new addition to our team!

We are looking for multiple picker and packers to join our team at the Chullora NSW warehouse!

n

This is a Full time, permanent position.

n

Monday - Friday 12:54pm - 9:00pm.

n

Job tasks and responsibilities:

n

n
- Order picking
n
- Packing Products
n
- Palletising in an efficient and safe manner
n
- Operating an electric pallet mover in a safe manner
n
- Safe lifting of products
n
- Being mindful of Occupational Health and Safety principals
n
- Operating a forklift if licensed and required to do so
n
- Completing tasks in good time
n
- Performing other tasks as reasonably directed by the supervisor or manager
n

To be successful you will need

Full Australian working rights and MUST live in Australia

- Have a track record of accuracy and productivity

- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality and commitment to work
n
- Have a positive attitude and able to work well in a team
n
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence and access to own car is advantageous

An honest and reliable warehouse worker who has the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced setting. You will have demonstrated punctuality and commitment to your work from your previous work history and be comfortable working independently as well as in a team.
