My Australia Direct Kelko Construction Pty Ltd is urgently seeking carpenters. This is a full-time position with annual remuneration of between $75,000 to $100,000 plus superannuation on offer depending on skills and experience. Multiple positions are available.

Task & responsibilities

n

n
- Forming and constructing structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard
n
- Cutting wood joints, shaping and fitting timber parts to form structures and fittings
n
- Constructing concrete formwork
n
- Fixing existing fittings
n
- Studying sketches and designs to determine requirements, dimension and installation procedures
n
- Purchasing and selecting materials necessary, and preparing layouts
n
- Working with laminates, Perspex, plastic and metals
n
- Putting the prepared wood altogether to form structures and fittings ready to be installed
n
- Cutting materials, assembling and nailing cut and shaped parts
n
- Nailing fascial panels,



roofs, exterior wall, door and window frames
n
- Erecting framework and roof framing, verifying to trueness of structures
n

Qualification & experience

n

n
- A cert III in carpentry & Joinery or 3 years of demonstrated carpentry experience
n
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
n

n
