Tasty One is a leading Australian food manufacturer operating a up-to-date production facility in Melbourne's west. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance & Electrical Breakdown Specialist to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability across our manufacturing operations.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys solving complex problems in a fast-paced production environment.

About the Role

n

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Responding to electrical and mechanical breakdowns
n
- Diagnosing faults on production and packaging equipment
n
- Performing preventative and corrective maintenance
n
- PLC fault finding and troubleshooting
n
- Working on motors, conveyors, pumps, pneumatics and automated equipment
n
- Installing and commissioning new machinery
n
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records
n
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently
n

About You

n

To be successful you will have:

n

n
- Victorian Grade D (A-Grade) Electrical Licence
n
- Strong industrial maintenance experience
n
- Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing or industrial production
n
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
n
- PLC troubleshooting experience
n
- Strong mechanical aptitude
n
- A proactive approach and commitment to safety
n

Highly Regarded

n

n
- Experience with VSDs
n
- Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
n
- Food processing or packaging equipment
n
- Preventative maintenance systems (CMMS)
n

n
