Job Description

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Leading Hand/Qualified Plumber or Civil Pipe layer to join our team in Melbourne, Victoria. This full-time role will see you take on a key leadership position, overseeing a team of plumbers and ensuring the efficient and high-quality delivery of all plumbing services.

What you'll be doing

n

Lead and coordinate a team of plumbers to complete a wide range of commercial and residential plumbing projects

n

Supervise the work of the team to ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standard

n

Provide hands-on support and guidance to junior plumbers to develop their skills

n

Liaise with clients, project managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver exceptional customer service

n

Assist in the planning and scheduling of work to maximize efficiency and productivity

n

Ensure all work is compliant with relevant building codes, regulations and safety standards

n

Maintain detailed records and provide regular reporting on project progress and team performance

n

What we're looking for

n





Fully qualified plumber with at least 2 years' post-apprenticeship experience

n

Experienced Civil pipe layer

n

Demonstrated experience in a leading hand or supervisory role, preferably within the plumbing industry

n

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and manage a team

n

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

n

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

n

Commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceptional customer service

n

Current driver's licence and reliable transportation

n
