Brooks Equipment, part of the Brooks Group, is one of Australia's largest privately owned hire companies, with branches located across the country.

We are currently seeking an experiencedParts Interpreterto join our Brooks Parts Team, based at our Welshpool branch.

n

Responsibilities/duties will include:

n

Parts interpreting and identification to assist with parts required

n

Utilise company software to enter data, including but not limited to invoices, receivals, quotes, purchase orders, etc.

n

Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers, representatives and obtain information, specification, quotations and negotiate deals that benefit Brooks

n

Obtain pricing from aftermarket suppliers where required

n

Work closely with the brooks Equipment Team and use initiative to improve parts and inventory systems

n

Ordering and receipting of parts ordered, including organising emergency breakdown parts for machines whilst ensuring their timely delivery.

n

Complete warehousing duties including receivals, picking and packing

n

Pickup and deliveryof parts as required

n

Inventory control including re-stocking of inventory items, ensuring requisitions are done and entered correctly and investigate any variances noted

n





Organisation of parts (sorting and distributing)

n

Assisting managers/staff with ad hoc duties

n

Relief work for parts department as required

n

Follow up on outstanding orders and advise the customer and / or department of their status, ensuring all enquiries are handled in a professional and timely manner

n

Ensure all operations are compliant with Environment and OS&H; Standards

n

Requirements:

n

Knowledge of earthmoving machinery advantageous

n

Manual C Class Driver's License

n

Understanding of parts management processes

n

Ability to read and interpret exploded parts diagrams

n

Sound computer skills

n

Ability to work autonomously

n

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

n

NetSuite software experience desirable but not essential

n
