Popular family-owned bakery café located 15 minutes south of Brisbane CBD, is seeking a casual Shop Assistant to join the team at Yeronga Bakery Café. We are looking for someone who is fast paced and has barista experience to join us!

About the Role
n
The casual role will involve but not be limited to:
n
Assist day-to-day operations of the bakery
n
Take orders and enter in POS
n
Work as an integral part of the team
n
Communicate effectively and respectfully with guests, supervisors and staff. Work closely with store manager to potentially transition into an assistant supervisor
n
Ensure a high standard of bakery presentation and store's cleanliness
n
The Candidate
n
Minimum of 1 year hospitality and customer service experience (preferred)
n
management and or Barista experience (large advantage but not essential)
n
MUST LIVE IN BRISBANE QLD.
n
Excellent communication and organisational skills
n
Own vehicle preferred but not mandatory.
n
Well presented with a great work ethic and a positive attitude
n
Ability to work as part of a team in a quick-paced environment
n
Schedule
n
Shifts are approximately 6-8 hours and flexible starting times including weekends.
n Total casual hours vary between 20- 38 hours per week.
n
In return you will receive
n
$36 per hour + super (at or above 21 years old )
n
Additional $6 per hour on Saturday and or Sunday (at or above 21 years of age)
