Shamrock Recruitment is partnering with a well established national insurance and construction business to sourcean experienced Contracts Administrator to join their team. With a strong reputation for delivering high quality insurance repairs and construction projects, the business provides responsive, customer focused building solutions across a diverse range of projects.
Due to continued growth, an opportunity has become available for a skilled Contracts Administrator to join the team in a role focused on insurance make safe works and smaller construction projects up to $500k. Working closely with Project Managers and key internal and external stakeholders, you will play an integral role across procurement, subcontractor management, contract administration and the commercial delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day to day contracts administration of insurance make protected and small construction projects from commencement through to completion
- Manage procurement processes, including tender packages, subcontractor engagement, purchase orders and subcontract agreements
- Review and administer head contracts and subcontractor agreements, ensuring contractual and financial requirements are met
- Manage variations, RFIs, extensions of time, latent conditions and other contractual matters alongside the Project Manager
- Assist with project budgets, forecasts, monthly cost reporting and overall cost control to ensure commercial targets are achieved
- Manage project documentation, payments, quality requirements and subcontractor compliance through to financial completion
About You
- Previous experience working as a Contracts Administrator within construction, ideally within insurance buildingor related environments
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement, subcontractor management and project administration
- Commercially minded with the ability to understand budgets, costs, margins and project financial outcomes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to liaise with Project Managers, subcontractors, suppliers, insurers, loss adjusters and consultants
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience using CHEOPS, ProcurePro or similar construction/job costing and contracts administration systems highly regarded
