Are you a hands-on Health & Safety professional who thrives on being out on the floor rather than behind a desk? A well-established manufacturing business is looking for a Health and Safety Manager to lead safety across their site.

About the Role

n

You'll take ownership of health, safety and compliance across the site, partnering closely with operations leaders and working independently as the go-to safety expert. This is a business that genuinely values a proactive, visible safety culture, you'll be expected to spend real time on the floor, building relationships with operators and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Chair and support the OHS Committee
n
- Manage Workcover claims and injury/incident investigations
n
- Conduct risk assessments, including for a new production line
n
- Lead and coordinate site audits
n
- Drive general health & wellbeing initiatives
n




- Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant OHS legislation and standards
n
- Deliver training across the site
n
- Provide project support on broader safety initiatives
n

About You

n

n
- A manufacturing background is essential
n
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, with relevant certification in risk management
n
- Proactive, adaptable, and genuinely hands-on, someone who gets things done rather than just manages from a distance
n
- Robust communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
n
- Comfortable working autonomously in a stand-alone capacity
n
