Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and people-focused Centre Director to lead our well-established Busy Bees at The Park service. This large, high-performing centre is exceptionally well resourced, with a highly experienced leadership structure.
n
As the face of the service, you will play a visible, hands-on leadership role focused on building strong relationships with families, supporting and mentoring your team, and driving occupancy, financial performance and operational excellence.

What you'll do
n
Lead the day-to-day operations of a high-quality early learning service.
n
Drive occupancy growth and financial performance in line with budget targets.
n
Build, mentor and retain a high-performing leadership team.
n
Maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework and ACT regulations.
n
Foster a culture of safety, inclusion, and educational excellence.
n
Develop strong partnerships with families and the local community.
n
Collaborate with your Area Director and support functions to achieve strategic goals.
n
Lead performance management, workforce planning, and succession planning.
n
What you'll bring
n
A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values.

Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)
n
Current ACT Working with Vulnerable People Registration (WWVP).
n
Proven experience leading a service, ideally within a medium to large centre environment.
n
Solid knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), EYLF,
and compliance requirements.
n
Demonstrated ability to manage occupancy, rosters, and financial performance.
n
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
