We are now looking for a Delivery Service Specialist,to become a key member of our team, based inNewcastle, NSW.This is a fantastic prospect to work in a supportive environment, where your contributions will make a real impact for our customers.

You will play a key role responsible for delivery of goods to customers, in accordance with the Company delivery policy and assisting the management and handling of stock as directed with a view to achieving optimal efficiency and customer service satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Deliver goods in accordance with the route directed by the despatch supervisor
n




- Unloading of goods at customers' premises ensuring goods are in accordance with the invoice details
n
- Collect product for return in accordance with the goods returns policy
n
- Ensure deliveries are fulfilled in agreed timeframes and any delays to the agreed delivery time are to be communicated to the customer as soon as possible
n
- Complete delivery run sheets
n
- Perform check of consignment stock at customers' premises as requested by the Warehouse Despatch Supervisor
n

Skills and attributes required

n

n
- Ability to organise, manage deadlines, work in a team and have an understanding of customer needs and delivery locations
n
- Must hold drivers licence
n
- Previous warehouse and driving experience
n
- Repetitive heavy lifting is an inherent requirement of the role
n
- This position may require the driver to load, move and unload between 50-100 tyres per day
n
- Provide feedback in meetings and support actions and outcomes as they arise
n
