Job Description

Prompcorp is a leading Australian Facilities Services business incorporating a full suite of Asset and Facility management functions. Our business operates at a National level across both Australia and New Zealand.

Due to the rapid growth of the business, Prompcorp has a need for an experienced Full-time Handyperson to join our team to cover the following areas: Horsham, Hamilton and Ararat.

n

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

n

Perform minor building repairs and general site maintenance, including upkeep of grounds.

n

Inspect products and materials to ensure compliance with operational and quality standards.

n

Represent Prompcorp professionally, demonstrating responsiveness and commitment to client success and continuous improvement.

n

Understand facility operational requirements and support proactive and reactive maintenance with minimal disruption.

n

Apply quality control techniques and conduct accurate measurements and calculations.

n

Demonstrate robust interpersonal and communication skills in all interactions.

n

Collaborate with and support team members as needed.

n

Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures, including Work Health and Safety (WHS).

n

Promptly identify, report, and address hazards, accidents, or injuries in accordance with Company and site procedures.

n

Assist in ensuring compliance with Company Policies and Procedures by employees, consultants, and subcontractors.

n

Work safely and responsibly, ensuring no harm to self or others, and respect Company property.

n





Use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately, reporting any defects or damage.

n

Follow lawful instructions from supervisors or authorised personnel.

n

Only perform tasks for which you are trained, competent, certified, or under supervision.

n

Promote and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

n

Carry out duties in an environmentally sustainable manner.

n

Required Skills and Knowledge:

n

3+ years of experience in a similar role

n

Excellent attention to details

n

Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team and autonomously

n

A confident, supportive team member with very good written and verbal communication skills

n

Satisfactory National Police Check and Work with Children Check required

n

Previous experience in building/ facilities is preferable
