We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Storeperson to join our team at Toscano's Kew.

n

This is a full-time role (38 hours per week) and is a physically demanding, fast-paced position. You'll be handling fresh produce deliveries, "breaking down" pallets, moving stock, working in cool rooms and helping keep our Produce Department running efficiently each day.

n

We're looking for someone who enjoys physical work, works with a sense of urgency, follows directions well, and takes pride in doing things properly.

The Role

n

n
- Receiving and unloading fresh produce deliveries;
n
- Breaking down pallets and putting stock away;
n
- Setting up produce areas and preparing produce cuts, including pumpkins and watermelons;
n
- Operating manual and electric pallet jacks;
n
- Working in cool rooms for extended periods; and
n




- Keeping storage and work areas clean, safe and organised.

About You

n

n
- Physically fit and capable of heavy manual work;
n
- Able to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment;
n
- Works with a sense of urgency;
n
- Follows instructions and procedures well;
n
- Reliable, punctual and safety conscious;
n
- Able to work independently and as part of a team;;
n
- Previous produce, warehouse, logistics or storeperson experience as well as experience using an electric pallet jack and a forklist licence will be highly regarded but is not essential.

Availability

- Full-time, 38 hours per week
n
- Early morning starts (from 5:00am)
n

n

Please note: Due to the hours and availability required, this role is not suitable for school or university students.
