About the Role

n

As an Identity and Access Specialist, you will be responsible for administering user identities, access provisioning, authentication services and security controls across SAP S/4HANA and related enterprise platforms.



Working closely with security, technical and business stakeholders, you will support identity lifecycle management, access governance, compliance activities and continuous service improvement.

The role offers the opportunity to work across enterprise identity management technologies while supporting secure access, regulatory compliance and business-critical digital services.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Administer user identities, access provisioning and de-provisioning across SAP S/4HANA and associated enterprise applications.
n
- Manage the full identity lifecycle, including joiners, movers and leavers.
n
- Analyse and resolve identity and access management issues while delivering high-quality customer support.
n
- Support the design, configuration, testing and maintenance of identity and access management processes.
n
- Assist with security role administration and identify potential Segregation of Duties (SoD) conflicts using SAP GRC Access Control.
n
- Perform user access reviews, recertification activities and compliance reporting.
n
- Administer SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) identity services, including Identity Authentication Service (IAS) and Identity Provisioning Service (IPS).
n
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with security policies, governance frameworks and industry standards.
n




- Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders and project teams to deliver secure and effective identity solutions.
n
- Support knowledge transfer and continuous improvement initiatives across the identity and access management function.

Highly Desirable Criteria

n

n
- Demonstrated experience administering Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions within SAP S/4HANA or comparable enterprise environments.
n
- Experience with user provisioning, de-provisioning, access reviews and identity lifecycle management.
n
- Strong experience using SAP GRC Access Control for access requests, Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis and compliance reporting.
n
- Exposure to SAP BTP Identity Authentication Service (IAS) and Identity Provisioning Service (IPS).
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
n
- Experience implementing identity and access controls in line with security, privacy and regulatory requirements.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
n
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project and operational teams.
n

Desirable Criteria

n

n
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Cyber Security or a related discipline.
n
- Experience working within Queensland Government or other large enterprise environments.
n
- Knowledge of information security frameworks, governance and compliance standards.
n
- Experience supporting enterprise application security or digital transformation initiatives.
