The Role
n
We are currently seeking a career focused Qualified Commis Chef to join our Gold Coast Kitchen team starting on a casual basis for 30+ hrs per week for the right candidate, with the option of a Full Time Salary moving forward. You'll be joining a well established kitchen team of professionals, who know how to handle the pressures of a busy service, still have a laugh, and serve up great quality food.

Key Responsibilities

- Work within the kitchen team in a positive, respectful manner
n
- Develop seasonal menu changes in collaboration with the team
n
- Maintain excellent food presentation, portion control, and consistency
n
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene standards
n
n
About You
n
n
- 1 years' experience as a Commis Chef in a similar high-volume café or restaurant
n
- Prior Breakfast Chef Experience Preferred
n
- Strong organisational and leadership skills with a hands on approach
n
- Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining quality and composure
n
- Work efficiently, prioritise and multitask effectively
n
- Strong team player with great communication skills
n
- Positive attitude and genuine love for hospitality
n
