A$200,000.00/yr - A$230,000.00/yr

We're now looking for a technically experienced Pre-Construction Manager to strengthen our ability to plan and win technically challenging projects — while supporting a more scalable and sustainable delivery model.

About the Role

n

This newly created role is a game-changer for our business. As Pre-Construction Manager, you'll lead the front end of our most key projects — shaping construction methodologies, solving complex buildability challenges, and ensuring that every bid we submit reflects our capability, creativity, and commercial strength.

You'll work closely with our estimators, project managers, and construction managers to bring structure and strategy to how we win work — and bring consistency to how we prepare for delivery.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Lead the development of construction methodology, staging plans, and site logistics — especially in live, operational, or heritage environments
n
- Collaborate with our estimating team to align methodology, prelims, and programme
n
- Interface with architects, designers, engineers, and clients to resolve technical issues early
n




- Write and review submission content for EOIs, RFTs, and negotiated proposals
n
- Attend tender interviews and site inspections as the technical face of the business
n
- Build a methodology and staging library to reduce MD/PM input into tenders
n
- Work with our operations coordinator to improve pre-construction systems and process
n

About You

n

Must-Haves:

n

n
- 7+ years of commercial construction experience, with hands-on delivery background
n
- Deep understanding of buildability, sequencing, and structural interfacing
n
- Experience with hospitality refurbishments, structural upgrades, or live site delivery
n
- Strong written communication skills and ability to shape compelling methodology narratives
n
- Familiar with Cubit, Procore, Microsoft Project, and tender programming
n

Bonus Points:

- Design & Construct (D&C;) or ECI experience
n
- History of leading successful tender submissions for high-end commercial/hospitality projects
n
- A systems mindset — you like to build repeatable tools and scalable processes
