This position is primarily Permanent Part-Time (Monday-Friday). However, for candidates who hold dual registration (RN/RM), we are pleased to offer a Full-Time role. In this capacity, you will share your expertise across both the midwifery and nursing teams, providing a diverse and rewarding educational leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Education:



Deliver high-quality coaching and competency assessments for the midwifery team.
n
- Mentor New Talent: Support student midwives and new graduates to build clinical confidence.
n
- Shape Practice: Collaborate with medical teams to embed evidence-based care and lead quality improvements.
n
- Hands-on Support: Provide clinical guidance in birthing, postnatal, and antenatal settings.
n

What You Bring

n

n
- Registration: Tertiary qualifications in Midwifery (Dual Nursing/Midwifery registration required for full time).
n
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years' post-graduate clinical experience.
n
- Skills: Strong leadership qualities and a demonstrated ability to teach or precept staff.
n
- Desirable: Post-graduate qualifications in Clinical Education.
