THE OPPORTUNITY
n
We are looking for an experienced and capable Medical Secretary / Administrator to join our team across four to five days per week (34–38 hours), with some flexibility on the exact arrangement. This is an immediate start opportunity — onsite training will be provided to set you up for success from day one. This is a hands‐on, high‐impact role supporting our specialist clinicians, offering real responsibility, genuine variety, and the satisfaction of making a difference every day in a fast‐paced surgical environment.

THE ROLE
n

- Manage the calendars and diaries for our specialist clinicians with precision and efficiency
n
- Coordinate surgical bookings end-to-end — from initial enquiry through to confirmation
n
- Prepare accurate surgical quotations with meticulous attention to detail
n
- Manage specialist correspondence with professionalism and discretion
n
- Provide polished reception and front-of-house duties — you will be the face of the practice
n
- Support, train and lead front-of-house and reception staff — your experience will lift the whole team
n
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with healthcare privacy regulations
n
- Assist the Practice Manager as required
n

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Essential: Proven experience in a similar role
n
- Highly regarded: Background in a surgical or specialist practice environment
n
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities without missing a beat
n
- Confident, clear communicator — both written and verbal
n
- Natural leadership ability with experience guiding or mentoring reception and administration staff
n
- Discreet, professional and genuinely patient-focused in everything you do
n
- A genuine team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and supports those around them

- Proficient in medical practice software and Microsoft 365 — experience with Gentu is highly regarded
n
- Advantageous: Experience in women's health, urogynaecology or a specialist surgical environment
