Job Description
Are you a passionate Certificate III Educator who loves building meaningful relationships with children and families? Join SDN Kensington and be part of a warm, collaborative team where you'll support our youngest learners to grow, explore and thrive.

We are seeking an Educator (Certificate III) qualified to join our Nursery Room (0–2 years) on a permanent full-time basis (38 hours per week, Monday to Friday).
n
About The Role
n
This will include:
n
n
- Building nurturing, responsive relationships with children and families
n
- Providing responsive care, including meals, sleep, toileting and daily routines
n
- Supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing through play-based experiences
n
- Assisting with observations, documentation and educational programming in line with the EYLF
n
- Creating positive, protected, inclusive and engaging, stimulating age-appropriate learning environments
n
- Demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach within the room
n
- Working collaboratively with your team to uphold the National Quality Standards and SDN's Child Safe practices
n
n
About You
n
You will have experience and skills in the following:
n
n
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care with relevant industry experience in early childhood education and care is desirable
n
- Minimum 6-12 month's work experience in an early childhood setting ( Nursery experience desired)
n
- Child protection training and commitment to child safety GECCKO
n
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
n
- Current NSW Working with Children Check, current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis and Food safety certificate.
n
- Excellent verbal and written communication, relationship-building and teamwork skills.
n
- A genuine commitment to child safety and inclusion
n
