Lead Playwright Architect

n

We are looking for an experienced Lead Playwright Architect to design, build, and scale contemporary UI test automation frameworks using Playwright.

n

Exp: 8 years (6 years relevant in Playwright)

n

Responsibilities

n

n
- Architect and lead end-to-end UI automation frameworks using Playwright
n
- Define automation standards, best practices, and coding guidelines
n
- Lead POC development and framework enhancements
n
- Integrate Playwright with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.)
n
- Collaborate with developers to enable shift‐left testing
n
- Review automation code and mentor QA engineers
n
- Provide technical leadership for test strategy and execution
n
- Ensure automation scalability, maintainability, and performance
n
- Hands‐on experience in test automation architecture & framework design
n




- Experience with CI/CD integration
n
- Knowledge of BDD/TDD and Agile methodologies
n
- Strong experience with Git, version control, and code reviews
n
- Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem‐solving skills
n

Good to Have

- Experience with API automation and test data management
n
- Exposure to cloud‐based test execution (AWS/Azure/GCP)
n
- Knowledge of performance and security testing
n
- Prior experience as Automation Lead / Architect
n
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
n
- Proactive mindset with ownership attitude
