Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Officer / Bookkeeper to join our team at Sal's House Pty Ltd in Robina, QLD. This full-time role will be responsible for running multiple payroll files, maintaining accurate financial records and providing essential support to our accounting operations.

What you'll be doing

n

- Performing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including payroll, data entry, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting using MYOB
n
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
n
- Providing support to the accounting team as needed
n
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing productive workflows
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a payroll/bookkeeping role
n
- Strong proficiency in using MYOB accounting software
n
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping
n




- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
n
- Solid communication and customer service skills
n
- Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting, would be highly regarded
n
