Job Description

About the Role This is a senior leadership role suited to an experienced planner with demonstrated capability in managing large-scale Development Applications and Planning Proposals, leading teams and contributing at a strategic level.
n Working closely with the Planning Directors and executive team, you will have responsibility for major projects, mentoring staff, improving systems and contributing to business development and operational strategy

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Independently manage and deliver large-scale Development Applications and Planning Proposals
n
- Provide detailed planning advice to clients, identifying project risks and opportunities
n
- Prepare and review complex planning reports, studies and submissions
n
- Liaise with councils, panels and State and Federal government agencies
n
- Lead and mentor junior and contract staff and review technical outputs
n
- Contribute to operational procedures, quality assurance and project methodologies
n
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and support client growth
n
- Attend project, client, council and panel meetings and undertake site inspections
n
- Manage project budgets and ensure performance targets are achieved
n

About You

n

n
- Degree-qualified in Town Planning, Urban Planning or related discipline
n




- Extensive experience in NSW statutory planning and approvals
n
- Proven track record managing large-scale or complex planning projects
n
- Strong leadership, mentoring and people management skills
n
- Commercial mindset with experience contributing to business development
n
- Excellent written, verbal and stakeholder engagement skills
n
