We're looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to take ownership of projects from concept through to construction — working shoulder-to-shoulder with our other disciplines, in a true team culture.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Leading electrical design across commercial, aged care, hospitality, residential projects and other specialist disciplines — including some genuinely large‐scale work ($50M–$200M+)
n
- Running your own projects end-to-end: concept, documentation, tender, construction phase
n
- Coordinating directly with structural, mechanical, hydraulic and fire teams under one roof
n
- Attending client and consultant meetings as the electrical lead — your name on the work, your face in the room
n
- Oversee design reports, specifications, and drawings to Australian standards and local regulations
n
- Mentor and support junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the team
n
- Manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure the successful execution of project deliverables
n
- Conduct site inspections, prepare technical assessments, and assist with commissioning support as required

- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and sustainability best practices

Requirements that you'll need to bring

n

n
- 7–10+ years' Building Services electrical design experience in Australia
n
- A current degree in Electrical Engineering (must have) & CPEng (or well on your way)
n
- Strong Revit, MS Projects and PowerCAD skills — non‐negotiable for how we work
n
- Confident, capable communicator — written and verbal, client‐facing
n
- The judgement to work independently and the collaboration skills to work as part of an integrated team
n
- Full Australian working rights
n
- Proficient with Australian Standards and building codes
n
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
