About the Role
n
Reporting to the Program Manager and based in Homebush as a Dayforce Payroll Parallel Tester, this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a large-scale digital transformation, supporting the implementation of a new HR and Payroll system across Australia and Recent Zealand.
n
You will be responsible for ensuring payroll calculations, system configurations, and processes are accurately tested and validated prior to go-live.
n
Initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension based on project requirements.
n
You will;
n
n
- Execute payroll test scenarios and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
n
- Conduct parallel payroll runs by comparing legacy system pay outcomes with Dayforce results
n
- Identify and log defects and issues in Jira
n
- Validate employee and payroll data during migration activities
n
- Ensure compliance with Australian payroll legislation, including PAYG, Superannuation, and STP
n
- Review Dayforce award interpretations and Workforce Management (WFM) configurations
n
- Investigate discrepancies and collaborate with Payroll, HR, IT, vendors, and implementation teams to resolve issues
n
- Prepare test reports and communicate testing outcomes to stakeholders
n
- Assist with user guide development, training, and knowledge transfer to payroll teams
n
n
About you
n
You are an experiencedDayforce Payroll Parallel Tester or Payroll SME with hands-on experience supporting Dayforce implementations and running payroll parallel testing. With a strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, award interpretation, and payroll processes, you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for identifying and resolving system and data issues.

You will have;
n
n
- Experience working with complex systems and platforms
n
- Strong testing management skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders, manage vendors, and oversee testing and quality outcomes against agreed KPIs and deliverables
n
- The ability to remain hands-on when required while driving testing activities to successful completion
n
- Strong experience preparing and communicating test summary reports and project status updates
n
- Proficiency in Jira and Confluence
n
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
n
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment
n
