We provide high-quality Supported Independent Living (SIL), Community Access, Personal Care, and Capacity Building supports across NSW. We are seeking compassionate and reliable Assistant in Nursing (AIN) professionals who are passionate about delivering person-centred care.

About the Role

As an Assistant in Nursing (AIN), you will support participants with their daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity, and choice. You will work collaboratively with our experienced team to deliver safe, high-quality supports in accordance with the NDIS Practice Standards. You will report at our location.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using appropriate manual handling techniques.
- Support participants with medication (where trained and authorised).
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding where required.
- Complete accurate progress notes and incident reports.
- Support participants in attending appointments and community activities.
- Promote participant choice, independence, and inclusion.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful living environment.
- Work collaboratively with nurses, allied health professionals, and support workers.




- Follow individual support plans and behaviour support plans.

About You

- Compassionate, patient, and respectful.
- A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, with excellent time management skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Committed to person-centred care and safeguarding participants.

Essential Requirements

- Certificate III in Individual Support, Assistant in Nursing, or equivalent.
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Working with Children Check (where applicable).
- Current NSW Driver Licence and reliable vehicle.
- Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Full Australian working rights.

Desirable

- Experience in Supported Independent Living (SIL).
- Experience supporting participants with:
- Mental Health
- Intellectual Disability
- Autism
- Complex Behaviours
- High Intensity Supports

- Medication competency.
- Manual Handling training.
