Mounties Care, powered by Mounties Group, provides in-home care that supports people to live independently with dignity. We're seeking compassionate, reliable Support Workers to join our team across Queensland, including but not limited to the following areas:

- Coomera

- Currumbin

- Robina
n
- Southport
n
- Logan

ABOUT THE ROLE

n

We have an exciting opportunity for a nurturing and compassionateCommunity Support Workerto join our team at Mounties Care to provide support for our wonderful clients acrossLogan,QLD, on aCasual or Part-time basis.

n

More specifically, some of your duties may include:

n
- Accompanying clients during daily activities running errands and going on outings
n
- Food preparation and shopping
n
- Assisting in personal care and hygiene such as showering and dressing
n
- Performing household tasks such as cleaning, washing and folding clothes
n
- Providing social interaction and companionship
n
- Transport to appointments
n

ABOUT YOU

n

The ideal candidate will ideally have:

n




- Hold a Certificate 3 in Individual Support or similar qualification - essential
n
- Previous experience in aged care or disability – at least one year
n
- Hold a NDIS clearance - or willing to obtain
n
- Hold a COVID-19 Vaccination
n
- Current Police Check – or willing to obtain
n
- Current First Aid Cert including CPR – or willing to obtain
n
- Must have own car & relevant insurances
n
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
n
