Qualifications & experience

n

Must have -

n

Coal Board Medical (current)

n

Standard 11 Induction (current)

n

Carpentry Trade Certificate III (current)

n

Minimum 3+ years post-trade experience in a Mining/Commercial/Industrial environment

n

Previous experience working in a building maintenance position involving large volumes of assets and servicing schedules

n

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans

n

(basic) Computer literate as we operate on electronic work orders and purchasing systems.

n

Open C Class (minimum) driver's licence

n

Meet Inherent Safety Requirements of the site which mandatorily include (but are not limited to) Clean Shaven, Hard Hats, Safety Boots, safety glasses etc

n

Right to work in Australia

n

Advantageous to have

n

Operators Tickets in the use of EWP's, Scissor lifts, Working at Heights, Rigging, Scaffolding, Skid Steer, Tele Handler, Vac Trailer, Excavators, Backhoe, Polywelding.

Concreting experience

White Card

n

Police Check

n

Tasks & responsibilities

n

Carpentry repairs & maintenance (including Bathhouse and Toilet) as required

n

Change-outs, minor demolition works and new installations as required

n

Continuously Improve workflow and safety

n

Effectively communicate with customers where required and to support other tradespeople

n

To actively participate and support an environment of teamwork, efficiency and secure work

n

Complete all related paperwork (including electronically) as necessary in a timely manner e.g. timesheets, purchase orders, minor estimates, job notes, technical reports etc.

n

Compliance with all Client site policies and procedures (NB - this is a clean shaven site)

n

Be physically fit and motivated.
