Job Description
Boyce is a leading Australian advisory firm with over 50 years' experience supporting individuals, businesses, and communities. We are in an exciting phase of transformation, deliberately shifting toward a technology‐enabled advice platform where AI, automation and data sit at the centre of how advice is delivered.

We are seeking an AI & Automation Engineer to play a critical role in designing, building and deploying AI-enabled solutions that deliver real, measurable business outcomes.
n
Reporting to the Head of Technology, this is a senior individual contributor role working closely with business leaders to translate advisory and operational processes into scalable, production‐grade AI and automation solutions - primarily across the Microsoft ecosystem.

n
What You'll Be Doing
n
n
- Designing and deploying AI agents and intelligent workflows that reduce manual effort and improve advice delivery
n
- Building Power Platform solutions (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Copilot Studio) to support internal and client‐facing processes
n
- Developing data pipelines, semantic models and reporting to underpin analytics and AI outputs
n
- Integrating AI solutions with core business systems via secure APIs
n
- Ensuring all solutions meet governance, security, and privacy requirements, including compliance with the Australian Privacy Act
n
- Partnering with stakeholders to identify opportunities and deliver solutions with clear business impact
n
- Supporting uplift in AI capability across the firm through documentation and knowledge sharing
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
You'll bring a strong mix of technical capability, commercial mindset and the ability to work confidently with non‐technical stakeholders.
n
Essential experience includes:
n
n
- Hands‐on experience designing and deploying production AI agents and intelligent automation
n
- Strong capability across the Microsoft ecosystem, including Power Platform and Azure AI services
n
- Experience with prompt engineering, RAG, and AI integration into business systems
n
- Solid grounding in data modelling, reporting, and analytics
n
- Understanding of governance, privacy, and security in a regulated or professional services environment
n
- Ability to manage end‐to‐end delivery and communicate complex concepts clearly
n
- Microsoft Fabric or modern data platforms
n
- Experience in professional services, financial services, or advisory environments
n
n
Why Join Boyce
n
n
- Be part of a firm actively investing in AI and automation, not experimenting at the edges
n
- An attractive remuneration package, commensurate with your qualifications and experience
n
- Work with real business problems and see your solutions adopted and used
n
- High level of autonomy with a clear pathway for progression as the AI function grows
n
- A highly competitive parental leave offering
n
- An extensive wellbeing program, including five wellbeing days per year and access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
n
- Supportive, values‐driven culture with a strong focus on community and long‐term impact
n
- Flexible working arrangements and a genuinely collaborative environment
n
