Casual Medical Receptionist - IMMEDIATE START

Casual receptiopist wanted, IMMEDIATE START

n

We are seeking someone to join our team in a busy, quick paced medical centre.

n

Working hours may vary, applicant must be available to work any time in the following hours:

n

Monday to Friday: 6.45am - 6.00pm

n

Saturday: 7.45am to 1.30pm on a rotational roster.

n

Medical Receptionist experience with Best Practice highly regarded however not essential

n

Welcoming patients and visitors, answering the telephone and answering any inquiries.

n

Scheduling appointments

n

Assisting patients with completing necessary forms and documentation.

n

Keeping a clean and calm reception area.

n

Processing billing and payments, using medical software

n

Liaising with Medicare and private health funds

n

Faxing, scanning, filing,



and mailing documentation.

n

Comforting distressed patients - this may range from simply fixing any appointment issues that may arise, through to being the voice of comfort during times of extreme stress and emergency.

n

Maintaining information confidentiality at all times.

n

Liaising with other medical departments such as radiologists, medical specialists or psychologists with professionalism and discretion.

n
