Job Description
Forklift Mechanic
n
Seeking an experienced Mechanic to service, and maintain a range of forklifts and related plant machinery for a reputable service provider. This is a permanent full-time position within a well-established mechanical maintenance business.

Position Overview
n
n
- Experience required in servicing, maintaining, and repairing forklifts or plant machinery. No experience with plant but experienced with light to heavy vehicles is also considered.
n
- Competitive hourly rate ranging from $40 to $45, dependent on experience.
n
- Based in a regional area of Northern Victoria.
n
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Perform scheduled servicing, repairs, and fault diagnosis on forklifts and plant equipment.
n
- Identify issues within mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
n
- Travel to client locations to conduct on-site servicing and repairs, minimising equipment downtime.
n
- Carry out workshop repairs and prepare machinery for service.
n
- Conduct comprehensive inspections and highlight maintenance requirements.
n
- Maintain detailed records of services and repairs with accuracy.
n
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients.
n
- Operate independently while adhering to safety standards during site visits.
n
- Support colleagues in workshop activities as needed.
n

Candidate Requirements

- Permanent Resident visa or equivalent work rights required.
