ABOUT THE ROLE

n

We're seeking a driven Spare Parts Team Leader to join our operations at Baranduda VIC 3691. This is a full-time, day-shift position where you'll be responsible for leading and coordinating the spare parts division to ensure timely supply of materials for workshop jobs, field service projects and urgent breakdowns.

n

In addition to overseeing day-to-day inventory operations, you'll also be directly responsible for mentoring and supervising a Spare Parts Interpreter Trainee, helping shape the future of our workforce by supporting their development and training.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

n

n
- Lead and coordinate all spare parts operations to meet internal and external customer needs
n
- Supervise and mentor a Spare Parts Interpreter Trainee, fostering their growth and on-the-job learning
n
- Source quotes, manage procurement, receive and dispatch parts
n
- Control stock levels for both consumables and job-specific allocations
n
- Manage inward/outward freight, warranty processes, and supplier returns
n
- Maintain inventory systems in line with lean principles and best practice
n
- Liaise with workshop, field service, and admin teams to anticipate and meet job requirements
n




- Drive improvements in inventory systems, purchasing, and stock management
n
- Provide high-level customer service and support to internal stakeholders
n
- Perform stocktakes and support system accuracy
n

ABOUT YOU

n

n
- Sound mechanical knowledge or trade background
n
- Experience in a spare parts, inventory, or procurement leadership role
n
- Confident leader with the ability to supervise and coach junior team members
n
- Solid organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
n
- Forklift licence (desirable)
n
- Enjoy solving problems, taking initiative, and seeing things through
n
