Job Description

We have a great prospect to work in a hands-on role working with road maintenance crews in local councils in the Western suburbs of Melbourne. You will be an integral member of the team preforming essential road maintenance tasks.

Location: Western Suburbs VIC

Pay Rate: From $35 - 38 per hour

n

Shifts: Monday to Friday | 7:00am starts

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Operating specialised plant and equipment used for line marking and bitumen sprays.
n
- General manual handling tasks (shovelling, raking, sweeping, and heavy lifting)
n
- Prep road surfaces for asphalt and sealing.
n
- Making sure all work is completed safely, correctly, and to a high standard.
n
- Complete pre-start checks and ensure vehicle is maintained to safety standards
n




- Communicate clearly with dispatch and site supervisors
n
- Adhere to all site safety protocols, including PPE and hazard identification
n

Requirements

n

n
- Minimum 6 months relevant civil labouring or road maintenance experience
n
- Valid Driver License
n
- Must hold a current White Card (Construction Induction Card).
n
- Ability to perform physically demanding manual work.
n
