About the Role
n
As part of our Emergency & Critical Care team, you will:
n
n
- Deliver exceptional nursing care to emergency and critical care patients.
n
- Perform triage and initial assessments of emergency presentations.
n
- Make confident clinical decisions within your scope and contribute to patient care.
n
- Monitor anaesthesia and assist with advanced procedures.
n
- Perform diagnostics and manage complex nursing treatments.
n
- Communicate compassionately with clients during some of their most difficult moments.
n
- Maintain accurate medical records using Smartflow and EzyVet.
n
- Work collaboratively with an experienced team of ECC veterinarians, specialists and nurses to provide outstanding patient care.
n
n

What We're Looking For

We're looking for experienced ECC veterinary nurses who are confident working in a busy emergency environment and enjoy the pace, variety and teamwork that comes with emergency and critical care.

The ideal candidate will be:

- Experienced in emergency and critical care nursing.
n
- Calm, confident and able to think clearly under pressure.
n
- A strong communicator who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
n
- Organised, proactive and detail-oriented.
n
- Compassionate, resilient and committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
n
- Passionate about continuing to learn and develop professionally.
n

Essential
n
n
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent).
n
- Minimum two years' clinical nursing experience.
n
- Previous Emergency and Critical Care experience is highly regarded.
n
n
