An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Accountant to join the team during a pivotal period. This 12 month fixed-term contract offers the chance to work closely with senior finance leadership across financial reporting, budgeting and business improvement initiatives, with the possibility of extension.

The Role

n

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity while supporting strategic decision-making through quality reporting and analysis. Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Coordinating year-end financial reporting activities and supporting statutory obligations
n
- Performing complex reconciliations and resolving historical balance sheet discrepancies
n
- Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
n
- Providing insightful financial analysis to support operational and strategic objectives
n
- Developing and enhancing Power BI dashboards to improve financial and management reporting
n
- Identifying opportunities to streamline finance processes, strengthen controls and improve efficiencies
n
- Supporting finance projects and system enhancements
n




- Collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver accurate and timely financial information
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

n

n
- CA or CPA qualification (or be close to completion)
n
- Demonstrated experience within financial accounting, reporting and audit environments
n
- Strong budgeting and forecasting experience
n
- Advanced Excel skills and experience creating Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
n
- Excellent reconciliation and problem-solving capabilities
n
- A proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset
n
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
n
- The ability to quickly adapt and add value within a energetic contract environment
n
