Varsity are currently hiringfull-time Kitchen Managers/Assistant Kitchen Managers/Sous Chef/Head Chef/Chef De Partie across our nine venues in Perth!

Yours roles and responsibilities:

n

n
- Controlling and managing the general operation of the kitchen.
n
- Monitoring overall staffing costs and working closely with the Operations Manager to control COG's, including but not limited to conducting and/or supervising the ordering process.
n
- Assist with hiring, training, and performance management of kitchen staff.
n
- Maintain a positive team culture with a robust pool of talent within your crew.
n
- Managing general maintenance of the kitchen and the back of house areas.
n
- Preparing and cooking high quality food using locally sourced ingredients.
n




- Training team members on food preparation techniques, maintaining quality and whilst ensuring a high level of hygiene and food safety compliance.
n
- Enforce company policies, staff policies, and service standards.
n

The Experience You'll Have:

n

n
- Minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery, Kitchen Management, Culinary Arts or similar
n
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
n
- A sound understanding of BOH operations.
n
- Ability to supervise operations in a fast-paced environment.
n
- Able to build, lead, train, and motivate a team.
n
- Passionate hospitality professional.
n
- Strong leadership skills and an ability to create and maintain a culture of service excellence.
n
- A sound understanding of the costs involved with the management of a successful business.
n

Salary range for this role is $75,000 - $90,000
