Job Description

As a well established organisation, my client is looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent full time basis. The role is based in Erina NSW 2250 with onsite parking provided.

About the Opportunity / Responsibilities:

n

Reporting to a nurturing Manager; you are responsible for

n

n
- Daily bank reconciliation
n
- Intercompany reconciliations
n
- BAS reporting
n
- Preparation of loan statements
n
- Assist in month end reconciliations and reporting
n
- Liaison with auditors and external consultants
n
- Maintain accurate financial records and provide timely reports for internal and external stakeholders
n
- Prepare and upload end of month accounting entries and adjustments, as part of end of month reporting process
n
- Assist in maintaining the asset register for the purposes of depreciation, asset management and capital planning in accordance with legislation, accountability frameworks and the organisation's objectives
n
- Participate in the annual internal and external auditing processes to ensure that appropriate systems are in place and maintained
n
- Implement controls and systems to ensure best financial practice is followed
n




- Assist in the processing of accounts payable to meet month end close time
n
- Other ad hoc duties as and when required
n

Ideal Profile

n

This opportunity is for someone who has experience in a similar role. You will also bring:

n

n
- Bachelors in Accounting & Finance/Commerce/Business related - equivalent qualification
n
- Previous experience in a similar role
n
- Prior experience in Oracle Netsuite or XERO would be an advantage
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Full work rights in Australia - AU/NZ citizenship or Permanent Residency preferably
n
- Permanent full time position
n
- Onsite parking provided
n
- $80,000 - $90,000 + Super (based on experience)
n
- Erina NSW 2250
n
- 5 days based in the office with flexible work hours provided
n
