Sesame Lane is a family-owned and operated group of Early Learning Services, proudly supporting the Moreton Bay community for over 35 years. We are excited to offer a new opportunity for a passionate and capable Service Manager to lead one of our beautiful services in Moreton Bay.

The Role
n
The Service Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of the service, leading with integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence in all practices. Working closely with the Educational Leader, you will guide and support the team to create a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment for children and families.
n
As the Service Manager you will oversee all aspects of service operations while building a solid, positive, and engaged team culture.
n
Supported by our experienced leadership team (Area Manager, Pedagogical Leader, and Head of Sesame Lane), you will:

- Lead and manage a high-quality early learning service
n
- Oversee day-to-day operations in line with company policies and procedures
n
- Inspire, support, and mentor educators to deliver best-practice outcomes
n
- Manage staffing, rosters, and compliance using our time and attendance systems
n
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and the wider community
n
- Work collaboratively with the Educational Leader to support curriculum and practice
n
- Ensure indoor and outdoor environments are well-presented, purposeful, and engaging
n
- Support and guide the team's understanding of the National Quality Framework
n
- Advocate for children and families and foster a thriving service community
n

About You
n
You are an experienced, reflective leader who brings professionalism, passion, and a genuine love for children into everything you do. You will demonstrate:
n
n
- A strong growth mindset and love of continuous learning
n
- Proven ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
n
- Approved qualifications for the role:n n
- Bachelor of Early Childhood, or
n
- Diploma / Advanced Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (minimum 3 years' experience)
n
n
- Business qualifications (highly desirable)
n
- Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, QKLG and Child Safety Standards
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
- Confidence supporting digital platforms (e.g. Storypark)
n
- Passion for sustainability and quality environments
n
- Current Blue Card and full working rights in Australia
n
n
