Job Description

Tetris Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Pipe Fitter to join our team in Yatala, Queensland. As a Pipe/Fitter, you will play a crucial role in the installation of industrial piping systems. This is a casual role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work on a variety of projects within our agile organisation with plenty of overtime available.

What you'll be doing

n

Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, and specifications to plan and execute pipe fitting tasks

n

Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes and related materials to industry standards

n

Perform welding and fabrication tasks to join pipes and fittings, following appropriate safety protocols

n

Trade qualification in pipe fitting and or plumbing is required for this position

n

Inspect and test completed pipe systems to ensure proper function and compliance with regulations

n

Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during installation or maintenance

n

Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following all health and safety procedures

n

What we're looking for

n

Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter/Plumber, preferably in the Trades & Services industry

n

Minimum of 3-5 years of pipe fitting experience is required

n

Strong knowledge of pipe fitting techniques, welding,



and industry best practices

n

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

n

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to tackle complex challenges

n

Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management

n

Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues

n

Australian work rights are required for this position
