A leading Federal Government department is looking to for an experiencedSolution Architect/Cloud Architectto support a major multi-year program aimed at modernising and securing the department's technology infrastructure, applications, and service delivery. The successfulSolution Architect/ Cloud Architectwill be responsible for the design, development, and evolution of enterprise-wide architecture to align with business objectives and technology strategies. TheSolution Architect/Cloud Architectwill be offered a12-month initial contractwith a possibility of 2 x 12 month extension option.

The successfulSolution Architect/Cloud Architectwill be responsible for, but not limited to:

n

n
- Design and implement enterprise-level solutions that align with business objectives and IT strategy.
n
- Assess and recommend cloud adoption strategies, SaaS solutions, and on-premise-to-cloud transitions.
n




- Ensure seamless integration of CI/CD pipelines, embedding automated testing, security best practices, and quality assurance processes.
n
- Participate in architectural reviews and governance processes
n

The successfulSolution Architect/ Cloud Architectwill have experience in the following:

n

n
- Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or hybrid) and application migration strategies.
n
- Solid understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, including automated testing, quality assurance, and security integration.
n
- Practical experience with IWS development, ensuring seamless integration within enterprise architectures.
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance technical complexity with business objectives.
