Dental Assistant | 9-Day Fortnight | Chatswood & St Ives

We are a well-established and growing orthodontic practice with locations in Chatswood and St Ives, Sydney. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team. This position offers a 9-day fortnight with one RDO every fortnight, no weekend work, and working hours from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.

We provide ongoing training and development for all team members and are looking for someone who brings a strong work ethic, reliability, and a genuine eagerness to learn. Our Dental Assistants are highly involved in all aspects of patient care and clinical procedures, making this an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment.

We utilise the latest orthodontic technology and treatment systems to deliver high-quality patient care and support efficient clinical workflows.

Your responsibilities will involve:

n

- Chair-side assisting and preparation of clinical area before and after treatment
n
- Infection control techniques, sterilisation and instrument re-processing and tracking protocols
n
- Providing patient care, oral hygiene instruction, and orthodontic appliance care guidance
n
- Taking clinical photographs,



including extraoral and intraoral images
n
- Intraoral scanning and digital workflow support
n
- Be understanding and effectively communicate with the patients
n
- Consistent high-quality patient care
n

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:

n
- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting, or a willingness to undertake further training (preferred but not essential)
n
- Previous experience in dental assisting, healthcare, or a customer-facing customer service role
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- A positive attitude, strong initiative, and eagerness to learn
n
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
n
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities in a rapid-paced environment
n
- Sound computer skills and confidence using digital systems
n
