Experienced Fitter/Machinist

Our client a respected and well‐established industry leader, is seeking an Experienced Fitter/Machinist to join their modern workshop located in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing, full‐time hours with a high hourly rate and consistent work.

What's on Offer

- Monday to Friday roster
n
- 6:00am - 2:30pm
n
- $50 - $53 per hour + overtime
n
- Modern workshop with quality equipment
n

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Operation of Bed Mills, Horizontal Bores, and Lathes
n
- Operation of Key Press, Drill Press, and Saw
n
- Shaft turning and precision machining
n




- General workshop and machine maintenance
n
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics
n
- CNC experience an advantage
n

About You

n

The successful candidate will have:

n

n
- Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade
n
- On the job experience as a Fitter, Turner, or Machinist
n
- Full Australian working rights
n
- Robust attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
n
- A proactive and safety‐focused mindset with strong WHS awareness
n
- High levels of reliability, punctuality, and work ethic
n
- Physical capability to meet the demands of the role
n
