About the Role

n

We're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive corporate, MICE, leisure and travel trade sales across our portfolio. Based in Melbourne with regular travel to Sydney, you'll work closely with each property's Hotel Manager and our Group Revenue Manager to turn market prospect into bookings - building pipeline, negotiating contracts, and growing key accounts across two capital city markets.

What You'll Do

n

Build and execute a portfolio-wide sales strategy to lift occupancy, ADR and RevPAR

n

Develop corporate, government, MICE and travel trade accounts across Melbourne and Sydney

n

Lead RFP responses,



contract negotiations and group/conference business

n

Grow relationships with OTAs, wholesalers, DMCs and travel agents

n

Represent the portfolio at trade shows, industry events and famils

n

Report on sales performance and pipeline against budget

n

What You'll Bring

n

3+ years' hotel or hospitality sales experience, with a track record in new business development

n

Multi-property or cluster sales experience highly regarded

n

An existing corporate/MICE network in Melbourne (Sydney contacts a bonus)

n

Strong negotiation skills and confidence owning RFPs and rate agreements

n

A self-starter mindset - comfortable managing a multi-site patch independently

n

Current driver's licence and willingness to travel between Melbourne and Sydney

n

$70,000 - $85,000 + super, commensurate with experience, plus performance bonus
