ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our leading global mining client is proud to be a leading Australian producer of premium quality hard coking coal for export steel markets within Central Queensland's Bowen Basin, with additional joint ventures in steel making coal, copper and manganese across Northwest Queensland and Western Australia. With steelmaking coal being an essential ingredient in blast-furnace steel manufacture, producing steel used for critical building and infrastructure around the world, this is a fantastic prospect to join a leading growing client with a focus on sustainability, innovation and progression within the workforce and supporting local communities.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

You will be working within the Mine Services Department as a Pump Crew Operator the successful candidate will have experience on pit dewatering, pump set ups and highwall pumps.



Candidates who are experienced Poly Welders are also encouraged to apply. The coal mine site is located near Moura and you will be working 12.5-hour shifts on a 7/7 rotating roster. These are ongoing roles and are available for local and DIDO candidates only.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

- Pump Crew Operator with experience on pit dewatering, pump setups, highwall pumps and Poly Welding experience
- Current Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical or be willing to obtain
- Current Drivers Licence & Full Working Rights in Australia
