MJM Recruit has partnered with Ringwood Haematology, a busy specialist Haematology and Oncology practice located within Ringwood Private Hospital.

We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist / Secretary to join the front office team 2 days per week.

n

As one of the first points of contact for patients and their families, you will need to be warm, compassionate and professional, while also highly organised and efficient. This is a busy practice where the ability to multitask, adapt and work as part of a team is essential.

About the Role

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Welcoming patients and providing compassionate front-of-house support
n
- Managing appointments, schedules, calls and patient enquiries
n
- Processing billing and maintaining accurate patient records
n
- Filing, correspondence, audio typing and general administration
n
- Liaising with doctors, hospitals and healthcare professionals
n
- Supporting the wider team to keep the practice running smoothly
n
- Provide cover for annual and sick leave, with appropriate notice.
n

About You

n





Previous medical reception or secretarial experience is essential.

n

You will be comfortable supporting oncology and haematology patients and understand the importance of empathy, sensitivity and discretion.

n
