About the role

n

We have an exciting opportunity for an ideally experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team on a permanent part-time basis at both sites. Opening hours of the Practices are 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, and Saturday 8:30am to 12:30pm.

Your responsibilities

n

n
- Patient management; greeting and welcoming patients, answering phone enquiries, making, and confirming appointments; checking, processing, and managing customer accounts; and assisting callers with general enquiries
n
- Maintenance of the Best Practice patient database
n
- Processing and receipting payments using TYRO, DVA, Workcover and Medicare billing
n
- General housekeeping and upkeep of reception area and Doctors consulting rooms
n

About you

n

You are an experienced Medical Receptionist that can work autonomously and efficiently. You are motivated and enthusiastic, and enjoy being a part of a fun and dynamic team.

n

Skills & Experience:

n

n
- Minimum 12 months experience as a medical receptionist (ideal)
n
- Experience with Best Practice software (preferred)
n
- Familiar with processing and receipting payments using TYRO, DVA, Workcover and Medicare billing
n
- Comprehension of and dedication to patient confidentiality
n
- Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Reliable and punctual
n
