Your opportunity:

- The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) is a clinical leader, accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination of patient centred clinical practice specific to Post Operative Discharge Support Service (PODSS).
n
- The CNC demonstrates sound knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and theory and provides clinical leadership, advice and advocacy to a multidisciplinary team and is responsible for the facilitation and provision of quality and cost effective nursing and/or midwifery services which are consistent with contemporary standards, guidelines, relevant legislation and best practice.

- Maintain a close relationship with the Nursing Director Surgical Services and Intensive Care, Clinical Directors, key stakeholders and community services.
n
- The CNC will report to the Nursing Director Surgical Services and Intensive Care.

Permanent Full Time (76 hours p.f.) and Permanent Part Time Position (25 hours p.f.).

n

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $174,208 p.a., comprising salary between $140,631 - $152,684 p.a. (f/t) or salary rates between $70.92 - $77.00 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f., and Permanent Part Time Position, 25 hours p.f.)
