About the Role
n
Due to ongoing operational requirements, an opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Planner. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling all maintenance activities to ensure site OEE targets are achieved and budget levels are maintained.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Actively participate in ensuring a safe working environment, monitoring WHSE compliance, and issuing work orders with safe work guidelines.
n
- Plan and schedule all maintenance works using work orders, aiming for 85%+ of activities to be scheduled 48 hours in advance.
n
- Develop and master the CMMS (SAP) to manage work order flow, preventative maintenance tasks, and spare parts modules.
n
- Supervise service providers and utilities contracts to comply with company policy and statutory requirements.
n
- Provide weekly department statistics and monthly reports on maintenance costs against budget and equipment reliability.
n
- Provide supervision for trades during planned maintenance days and shutdowns, and coach the team on work order quality and performance.

The Successful Applicant
n
The successful applicant will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
n
n
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
n
- Advanced proficiency in computerized maintenance planning software (SAP) and the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
n
- Proven ability to manage service contracts and achieve maintenance performance targets/KPIs.
n
- High level of self-organizational ability with a results-focused approach to problem-solving and equipment reliability.
n
- Experience in managing safety policies, hot work permits, and confined space permits.
n
