Optimum Health Solutions is seeking an exceptional National Head of Clinical Development - Speech Pathology to drive clinical excellence, professional development, and best-practice service delivery across our growing organisation.

About The Role

n

As National Head of Clinical Development - Speech Pathology, you will lead the growth and development of our Speech Pathology workforce while influencing clinical standards across the organisation.

n

You Will

n

n
- Develop and execute a national clinical development strategy for Speech Pathology
n
- Lead and expand career development initiatives through the Allied Health Warrior CPD Program
n
- Design and deliver structured learning pathways, workshops and advanced training programs
n
- Provide mentorship, supervision and leadership to Speech Pathologists across multiple locations
n
- Drive clinical governance, quality improvement and evidence-based practice
n
- Support strong clinical outcomes within an NDIS and billable service environment
n
- Partner with operational leaders to optimise service quality, utilisation and clinician performance
n
- Contribute to innovation,



research-informed practice and service development
n
- Maintain a reduced clinical caseload of approximately 12 hours per week
n

About You

n

You are a passionate Speech Pathology leader who enjoys developing clinicians, influencing clinical standards and driving meaningful change.

n

You Will Bring

n

n
- 8+ years' experience as a Speech Pathologist
n
- Demonstrated leadership experience within Allied Health, Disability, Community Health or NDIS services
n
- Strong understanding of clinical utilisation, KPIs and billable service delivery models
n
- Advanced clinical expertise across communication, swallowing and complex presentations
n
- Experience designing and delivering professional development programs
n
- Strong mentoring, supervision and coaching capability
n
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
n
- Experience driving clinical governance, quality and continuous improvement initiatives
n
- Ability to influence and lead change across a geographically dispersed workforce
n
