THE ROLE

Due to recent growth, our client is seeking an experienced Residential Building Code Consultant / Assistant Building Surveyor to join their residential division. This role offers the opportunity to work across diverse residential projects, with the flexibility of central office and hybrid working arrangements.

DUTIES

n
- Review documentation and issue building permits
n
- Manage projects from commencement to completion

n
- Carry out inspections and compliance audits
n
- Attend meetings both online and in-person
n
- Liaise with councils, clients, contractors, authorities, and fire brigades
n
- Approve and prepare fee submissions and proposals
n
- Approve and issue invoicing
n
- Maintain solid client and stakeholder relationships to ensure trust and service excellence




n
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and company processes
n
- Demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
n
- Actively contribute to a team-focused and collaborative environment
n

ABOUT YOU

n
- Experience in residential building surveying or building code consultancy
n
- Understanding of relevant building codes, legislation, and compliance requirements
n
- Strong communication and client engagement skills
n
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
n
- Team-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement
n
